Wood and what's next? Environmental and technological opportunities and challenges
In recent years, wood has been identified as an ecological and biophilic raw material, and at the same time a material that offers great finishing and construction possibilities. Yet this is not always the case - a lot depends on, among other things, the technological processes and logistics chains that accompany its use.
Together with invited guests and guest speakers, we will discuss what to pay attention to in the design and construction process in order to take advantage of the real and not just marketing potential of wood in architecture. With reference to their design experiences, we will also discuss the myths they face every day when designing buildings using wood.
